Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain Light Show

Banpodaegyo Bridge spans the Han River with two tiers and boasts the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain, which holds the title of the world’s longest bridge fountain according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

This fountain dazzles spectators with its 380 water jets and an impressive array of multi-colored lights. The dynamic water jets synchronize with music, creating a captivating and ever-changing spectacle. As night descends, the bridge becomes adorned with hundreds of rainbow-colored lighting combinations, making Banpodaegyo Bridge a perennial favorite among tourists.

The Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain operates in intervals of 20 minutes, with the following schedule:

During the low season (April-June, September-October): 12:00, 19:30, 20:00, 20:30, 21:00

During the peak season (July-August): 12:00, 19:30, 20:00, 20:30, 21:00, 21:30

Please note that fountain operations may be suspended due to adverse weather conditions such as rain or strong wind, as well as based on the number of visitors in the park.

The fountain will shut down under the following conditions: when rainfall exceeds 2mm per hour, when winds reach speeds of 7m/s or higher, and when the opacity of the Han River measures 15NTU or higher.
